Electrical Design
To manufacture to an exacting standard it is essential to have the design complete and details from numbering of terminals to spacing for heat dissipation and interference defined, this allows not only aesthetically pleasing designs but ensures that the plant operates as intended and increases longevity. All PBC works are designed and verified prior to being handed over to the manufacturing team and we extend this offer as a stand alone service for customers with their own assembly abilities.
Machine Safety Systems
To stay abreast of the OH&S mandatory regulations it is necessary to follow a hierarchy of control methods that will ultimately result in the type of safety control system that you require. To achieve this you are required to adhere to several steps including Hazard ID, Risk evaluation, design, Review etc before implementation, PBC are equipped with both the knowledge and the technical experience to assist in any or all procedures to complete satisfactorily these mandatory requirements. Our strength is in our machine control experience which allows PBC to integrate seamlessly new safety control components into existing machinery of any age whist paying close attention to existing processing times resulting in a system that is safe whilst minimising the effects on your bottom line.
Control Systems
PBC was originally established as a control software company and has a great deal of experience in this area, from stand alone PLC's of 10 I/O to Multi processor DCS's of 10,000 I/O, so there is very little in the way of knowledge and hands on experience that PBC have not gained when it comes to machine automation. Careful preparation and research contribute to our ability to create a written scope of works that can be reviewed by operators and engineers alike. Our ability to understand your processes and communicate them to our engineering team allows us to fast track most control upgrades and ensures operational satisfaction.
Drives and Motion
Many new machines rely on motion control and or drives to operate, this is no more apparent than in the packaging industry, PBC have experience in many different types of motion systems from the simplest fan control to multi-axis servos motion control and robotics.

PBC has extensive experience in installation techniques and instrumentation, further to this we have formalised our training and can now offer Hazardous area services such as; Installation, service and maintain electrical equipment in hazardous areas(HAZ1)
